When life threw Sandie and I a curveball last year with that unexpected zoning issue, I thought my days of sharing the Outer Banks with you were coming to an end. It was more than losing an apartment—it was the potential loss of the beach bum life that has become such a meaningful
part of who I am and what I share with you all.

In that moment of uncertainty, my friend Charlie Parker suggested something intriguing—we should create a Beach Bum Society where those of you who find joy in my content could chip in a few dollars monthly. While we couldn’t stay directly on the Outer Banks as hoped, your support helped us land in charming Edenton, just a short drive away. Because of you, my OBX photography got a new lease.

I’ve been overwhelmed by all the messages telling me how my content brings sunshine to your days.
